Six days of non-stop fun as part of a warm, inclusive community of other Liberal Jews your age in these beautiful surroundings, meeting loads of other Liberal Jews your age, all organised by amazing young leaders - there is honestly no better way to enjoy your school holiday than on Shamayim!
Staff
A full programme of creative activities is planned by our fantastic group of madrichimot (leaders), all of whom are members of LJY-Netzer who have gone through our hadracha (leadership) training course. Also on the tzevet (staff team) are the LJY-Netzer movement workers, a medic and Becca Fetterman, Liberal Judaism's Director of Youth.
Activities
A typical day on Shamayim will see you playing the crazy games, heading off to the art room, nipping for a swim in the indoor swimming pool, singing and praying in our creative engaging services. There are so many fun activities you won't know how we fit it all in! There is time to chill in free time, as well as whole camp events where all the year groups everybody comes together to have fun!
Chuggim
This year, we are bringing back our exciting Chuggim (project groups), where you will get to pick your own stream and spend a substantial amount of time every day focusing on your dedicated theme, outside of normal LJY sessions. Themes will include; Art; Dance & Sport as well as others Machaneh Shamayim is one not to miss!

Cancellation Policy
o If a Participant or Parent/Guardian wishes to cancel their place on this event, they must contact LJY-Netzer at becca@liberaljudaism.org.
o A Participant or Parent/Guardian who cancels their child's place prior to the deposit payment deadline will be entitled to a refund less the Administration Fee.
o Any Participant or Parent/Guardian who cancels after the deposit deadline will be entitled to a refund according to the following schedule:
- 61 days or longer prior to departure date: 100% of monies paid less deposit and the Administration Fee;
- From 31-60 days prior to departure date: 50% of monies paid less deposit and the Administration Fee;
- From 15-30 days prior to departure date: 20% of monies paid less deposit and the Administration Fee;
- From 1-14 days prior to departure date: no monies refunded.
