Shalom! I'm Jess and I'm one of the LJY-Netzer Movement Workers for 5780/81. I am from North West London and have been part of Northwood and Pinner Liberal Synagogue my whole life. I joined LJY-Netzer in 2014, when I went on Israel Tour and immediately fell in love with it. Since then, I have been on Kayitz, Shnat Netzer, led numerous camps and last year I led Israel Tour! This year I am really excited to bounce back to as close to a normal reality we can get in the middle of a pandemic. I am hopeful to provide a really wonderful spring camp following on from the cancellation of our camps last year. My passions include Feminism, Gaming, Snowboarding and Dance.
I will be taking a lead on Shnat, Plaganim (School years 3-6), Aviv and our Regional Kehilot and Biennial.
Hiiii, I’m Josh and I’m excited to introduce myself as one of the LJY Netzer Movement Workers for 5780/81! I joined LJY Netzer as a Chalutzimnik back in the Summer of ‘11 and haven’t been able to shake it since. Having led Israel Tour, Kadimah and even a brief stint as the Aviv 5778 photographer, I’m looking forward to tackling all the fresh challenges that may come our way. Outside of LJY, I’ve recently moved to Hackney with three other Netzerniks to create the first East London Moishe House. I picked up gardening and DIY as my lockdown hobbies whilst running various virtual activities for young Jewish graduates. Before this, I grew up in Pinner and belonged to Northwood and Pinner Liberal Synagogue which is where I first heard all about LJY.
This year I’m chiefly responsible for Nechyam (school years 7-10), Israel Tour, Hadracha and Bogrimot so please feel free to direct any questions around those to me!
