Kayitz is by far one of the most enriching and fun experiences I’ve ever been lucky enough to have. I was exposed to so much culture and history in the most enjoyable way possible”Kayitz 2018

Kayitz Tzuf?

Bosnia & Herzegovina

Starting the trip in Sarajevo, we will explore the leading cultural centre of the Balkans, boasting a rich history of religious and cultural diversity. Here we will begin our journey exploring themes of Jewish immigration and identity in this beautiful and complex city.

In Split we will spend Shabbat exploring the beauty of the country, hiking in the natural lakes, visiting royal palaces and hanging out with friends on the beach. Being by the sea allows contemplation of the connection between the Jewish people and sea, and to consider the experience of migration, exile and home.

Our trip ends in beautiful Vienna, where we will see St Stephen's Cathedral, the Reform Synagogue and learn about some of Freud's theories. In the evening we will wander the exciting streets of Vienna and discover the thrills of the Vienna Fun Fair!
